Celebrity stylist Gok Wan was spotted around Hailsham and Bexhill last week while filming for Antiques Road Trip.
The show, which is due to air later this year, saw Gok team-up with Calender Girls actress Harriet Thorpe to take on expert auctioners David Harper and Christina Trevanion.
The stylist, best known for his Channel 4 series How To Look Good Naked, visited several antique shops in the area including Antiques and Allsorts in Hailsham and Eras of Style in Bexhill.
Eras of Style owner, Andy Towle, 53, said both teams had bought goods from his shop.
He said: “It wasn’t the normal format but it had the celebrities up against the experts.
“Gok’s team bought a 1930s miliners hat made out of feathers and a trunk and decanter and the experts bought a barometer.”
Andy’s store is a regular on TV antique shows after previously appearing on Antiques Road Trip and Bargain Hunters.
He said: “We’ve been on a couple of them before. Its a good laugh really.”
After filming the crew stopped off for lunch in Hailsham favourite the Homely Maid Cafe.
Pam Moors, 48, who works in the cafe, said: “Gok was really nice in person, he had a very nice lunch and he even had one of our homemade chicken pies.”
Readers have been sending in their photographs of themselves with the celebrity fashion expert.
