Golf buggies torched after joy ride

TWO golf buggies were set on fire after being taken for a joy-ride around a Worthing golf course.

Fire crews were called to Worthing Golf Club, in Links Road, at 9.15am today (Friday, January 1) when the two burnt out buggies were first discovered.

They had been stolen overnight and driven around the course before being set on fire.

Police have also been informed. Anyone with any information should call 0845 60 70 999.
