Scores of youngsters from the town took the chance to muck around at the Create & Relax open day, based at Crafter’s Corner, in Clifton Road.

Mucky-fingered little ones had the chance to get hands on with some gooey materials, from delving into tubs of sticky jelly and using their hands to paint pictures, to designing some colourful ‘flowers’ from paper.
