Governors sought for flourishing Bognor Regis school

New governors are being sought to help a thriving Bognor Regis school make further progress.

Two vacancies exist among the 12-strong governing body at Edward Bryant Primary School.

The shortfalls are for representatives from the community to join those from the staff and parents of pupils at the London Road school.

Headteacher Cathy Williams said: "Governors play a vital role in maintaining our high standards and in shaping the future of the school.

"It's useful for us to get a perspective of life beyond the school. We get involved in the local community and it would be good for the community to get involved with us."

The role of a governor is voluntary and consists of a minimum of four meetings a term.
