Police are appealing for witnesses to a spate of graffiti on a house and vehicles in Peacehaven.

Black spray paint was used to daub a target on the side of a house and a black line down the side of a car in Turnpike Close.

A hash tag was sprayed on a garage in Rosemary Close and another line was drawn on a camper van parked in Hairpin Croft.

A target board was also sprayed on the bonnet of a car in the same road.

The pedestrian underpass between Pelham Rise leading to the Trafalgar and Collingwood Housing Estate was also targeted with abuse.

These all occurred between Tuesday, March 25, and Wednesday, March 26.

PC Louise Barkaway said: “We are eager to hear from anyone who has any information in relation to this graffiti.

“The person responsible for this damage has targeted a number of innocent people.

“It is not only the inconvenience but the financial cost of having to remove the graffiti from their property which has had an impact of them.”

If anyone has any information ring 101 quoting serial 477 of 26/03 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
