Grosvenor Park hoe-down

Residents of Grosvenor Park enjoyed a country-western style line display last week.

The event was arranged by Patti Kelleway, activities organiser for the residential home. Patti attends a line dancing club called Tush and Tequila, who came to the building for the afternoon on Tuesday.

The event also raised around 70 for Raystede, an animal welfare charity, through a table sale and donations.

Georgina Ballard, another activities organiser, said: "A lot of the residents here can't get out so much, so we like to bring entertainment into the home.

"It's nice to have some sort of theme to work on. We hope to have different events over the year, maybe a strawberry tea and some country dances."
