Groups and clubs offered grant boost

A HELPING hand is being offered to voluntary organisations.

At its July meeting Yapton Parish Council will be considering and making decisions on applications for grant aid received from voluntary organisations, including clubs and 
charities.

Organisations must demonstrate they provide a service, benefit or assistance to inhabitants of the village.

Grants will not normally exceed £100 towards an organisation’s running costs but higher grants may be awarded.

The closing date is June 28. Applications must include an audited statement of the organisation’s last year’s financial accounts.
