Growing concerns for missing Sussex man

Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for a man who has been missing for more than five days.

Tim Gotch, 65, from Bramber was last seen leaving his home in The Street at 10am on Thursday, January 21.

On Saturday (January 23) Mr Gotch‘s car and some of his personal belongings were found in the Seaford area leading to a major search operation at Seaford Head.

Despite an extensive search, which lasted for more than four hours, no sign of Mr Gotch was found in the area.

Police have continued to search near Seaford for the last few days.

PC Heather MacKay said, “We are concerned about Tim because he has a heart condition and this is out of character for him. We have been searching in the Seaford area for the last few days.”

Mr Gotch is a keen walker and enjoys walking along the Seaford and Eastbourne coast.
