Guardian Angels sought for 5K charity challenge

BREAST Cancer campaign is inviting women to join their Guardian Angels running team and compete in the Adidas Women's 5k Challenge to be held in London's Hyde Park on Sunday 6th September.

Beast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and accounts for nearly one in three of all cancers in women.

The challenge is being held to raise money for breast cancer research, and the Guardian Angels team is named after the campaign's breast awareness ambassador.

Every runner will receive a pair of pink fairy wings, a professional Ronhill running vest and support throughout their training.

Guardian Angels Leader, Cecil Owen said: "Last year four hundred and fifty six runners joined our Guardian Angels team and raised more than 38,000 for Breast Cancer Research. This year we'd love more women to get involved so that we can continue our mission to beat breast cancer, so come on ladies, don your pinkest tutu and wear your fairy wings with pride at this years Adidas Women's 5K Challenge."
