Hailsham chauffeur firm gets IIP recognition

HAILSHAM’S corporate chauffeur company Club Class Chauffeurs has become the only chauffeur company in the county to be awarded with the prestigious Investors in People (IIP) recognition - a nationally recognised people management standard. The Sussex-based corporate chauffeur company, which has been trading for 19 years, provides corporate travel solutions to a range of organizations throughout the UK, as well as the competitive London market.

Emily Mayes, assessor for Investors in People, said she was ‘very impressed with the positive ethos and culture’ found in all aspects of the firm.

She added: “The passion, enthusiasm, commitment and dedicated hard work of the directors have inspired a loyal and equally dedicated and enthusiastic team of staff. The excellent leadership has enabled the company to achieve a range of awards and a high level of respect and recognition within its industry.”

The assessment was carried out via a series of interviews with staff, allowing the assessor access to examples of how the company meets Investors in People requirements.

Jonathan Dow, managing director of Club Class Chauffeurs, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded Investors in People standard as we work hard to ensure our employees are provided with the best training to enable the greatest possible career advancement opportunities. It also helps ensure our clients continue to enjoy our exceptional levels of customer service. “We always aim to be innovative and stay one step ahead of competitors and believe this accreditation is proof of that.” The company was awarded Best Customer Service award 2010 at The Sussex Business Awards in December.
