A primary school in Hailsham has had to close today after a “serious flood” in the building.
This comes after water supply problems hit the town on Sunday, which forced some schools to close yesterday.
Grovelands Community Primary School in Dunbar Drive, has closed today (May 11) to its Reception to Year 5 classes after a flood this morning.
It said Year 6 SATS exams were set to go ahead today, but the school will be closed to all classes tomorrow, in the hope of reopening on Thursday.
