A NEW professional theatre company will be making its debut performance at the Hailsham Pavilion Theatre this week.
The Ropemaker Theatre Company, which was formed in March of last year, will stage its first production of The Comedy of Terrors, a “fast-moving madcap comedy of multiple mistaken identity” written by acclaimed playwright John Goodrum.
Film and TV actor and patron of Hailsham Pavilion, Richard Graham, East Sussex WRAS founder Trevor Weeks MBE and the High Sheriff of East Sussex Mr David Allam, will be among the distinguished guests attending the opening night of The Comedy Of Terrors on Tuesday, September 4. The fast-paced comedy features established stage and television actor Aonghus Weber (Execution of Justice and Hollyoaks) and Tamara Wilder, an established touring repertory theatre actress who has also appeared in several P&O Cruises’ productions,Performances will run at the pavilion from Tuesday, September 4 to Saturday, September 8, starting at 7.30pm each night. An extra matinee takes place at 2.30pm on September 8.
