As the countdown to Hallowe'en begins, why not pop down to see the spook-tacular display at The Beacon.

It’s a perfect setting for a selfie or a photo with the kids.

Our friends at Media Attention have once more done us proud, with a wicked witch, a gravestone and other spooky characters to help set the scene for that perfect family portrait.

Samara Hume from Media Attention explained: “This Hallowe'en half term, The Beacon is the place to be for some frightfully fun photo ops. Visit the Halloween selfie area and strike a pose in the bumper car with your friends amidst the eerie atmosphere.

“But watch out, can you outpace the wicked witch - she’s on your tail! We’ll see you there… if you dare,” Samara said.

Mark Powell, The Beacon General Manager, encouraged shoppers and visitors to take time out for a quick selfie at The Halloween display.

“We want to celebrate all things Halloween and this display seems to be a hit with young and the not-quite-so-young,” Mark said. “Pop along for some spooky fun.”

The Hallowe'en selfie area will be at the centre square, next to Shades Cafe, until Sunday November 3.
