Housing Developments: there seems to be a crop of new developments on the borders of Eastbourne. The one that affects Hampden Park mostly is one for the field behind St Davids and St Martins Close with 425 houses plus recreations facilities. Concerned residents who understood the field would never be built on have set up a meeting at the Hampden Park Community centre, Brodrick Rd Hampden Park on Sunday afternoon 28th February , 2-4pm. There is also a public exhibition from the developer on Thursday 25th February 2-7pm at the Trinity Church Hall, Coppice Avenue, Willingdon
