Handbag swiped from Littlehampton shop

A WOMAN'S handbag was stolen while she was shopping in Littlehampton High Street.

It happened in Garratt's Newsagent at about 11am on Monday (September 14). The bag contained a mobile phone and keys.

Police wish to speak to a woman, who was said to have been "acting suspiciously" at around the time of the theft.

She is described as tanned, with long black hair about 5ft 6in tall and of a slim build. She was wearing blue jeans, white shoes, a cream jacket and a white shirt with a green waistcoat.
