Handbags snatched in Steyning
HANDBAGS have been snatched from parked cars in Steyning.
A passport, First Direct cheque book and ID for London Metropolitan University were stolen from a vehicle at Wiston car park in Chanctonbury Ring between 12pm and 1pm on Monday October 3.
Officers are urging members of the public to hand in the contents to the nearest police station if found.

Police are linking this to another incident which took place at Bramber Castle, also in Steyning, where by a vehicle window was smashed and a handbag stolen between 12.20pm and 1pm the same day. Serial number 0971 3/10/11.
