Firstly: I must apologise if you went up to the Pavilion for a Neighbourhood Planning Meeting on 29 November as I did only to find that no-one was there! From speaking to a member of the Committee I understand that they were still waiting on some information from the consultants they are working with but as it hadn't arrived, it was felt the meeting would be best rearranged to a time when the information would be available; this was Tuesday this week, 6 December. It was my aim to be there and if I did make it, rest assured I will update you next week!

A gentle reminder: if you are a member of the Rosemary Club and need a lift to Highley Manor for your Christmas Lunch on Wednesday, 21 December, you will need to get in touch with a member of the Committee as the Community Bus won’t be available to ferry members to the Hotel. The time of the lunch is 12.30 for a 1 pm start and the entertainment is from the singing duo ‘Two’s Company’.

Whilst talking about reminders: you might also want to make a note that the Community Bus’ regular timetable will be suspended over the holiday period. I would imagine that the last scheduled service will be on Friday, 23 December to Horsham leaving the village around 10 am (first pick up Pease Pottage at 9.45 am); normal service being resumed on Wednesday, 4 January, again to Horsham leaving the village at 9.57 am. If you need clarification, please speak to Les or Christina in the Hardware Shop.
