Hastings Direct raffle for SASBAH

Hastings Direct continued its support and work with SASBAH by running an Easter raffle.

SASBAH is the Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.

Charity Committee Jay Wootten said: "The company has been busy in recent weeks buying raffle tickets to provide needed funds for a weekend away for the charity and young families who have children or young people with Spina Bifida or Hydrocephelous."

Jay continued: "All raffle prizes were donated by suppliers of Hastings Direct and included wine, Easter eggs, DS Lite and even a Meerkat."

The raffle raised 750 for SASBAH and Tyler and Kieran Browning, SASBAH service users, came into Hastings Direct offices to accept the cheque.

The residential break will take place in June of this year and will be a vital form of support for families that face the battle of coping with a severely disabled child.
