Superintendent Dave Padwick, of the East Sussex division, said: “We are determined that Nelson will be detained and brought before the courts. By doubling the reward for him we hope someone will come forward with information concerning his whereabouts, associates and activities.

“Any person who assists Nelson in evading arrest should be in no doubt that they may themselves be arrested and prosecuted for committing an offence.”

Anyone seeing Nelson or knowing of his whereabouts is asked to report details online or call police on 101, quoting serial 47170177269. Alternatively, please visit the Crimestoppers website or contact the independent charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
