Hastings youngster helps give Christmas presents to children who might have gone without

Talan delivering the presents to Don’s FOOD mission.

Hastings youngster Talan Tambeh launched Talan’s Toys this Christmas to help give presents to children who may not get one this year.

Teaming up with Dom’s Food Mission, Talan has collected more than 100 gift bags of toys from his school, church and clubs that he attends.

Talan said he didn’t want any child to miss out on a present this year and collected gifts for all ages.

He will be handing out the presents along with his sister tonight (Tuesday December 20) as families come along to collect their food parcels.

Talan said: “This is just the start, I want to make sure children have presents every year.”

Talan wants to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated. The response has been overwhelming and he says he couldn’t have done it without the support.
