Haywards Heath pensioners join Age UK’s Big Knit for tiny bobble hats and winter warmth
Pensioners at Age UK’s Redwood Centre in Haywards Heath have joined The Big Knit - a national campaign between the charity and ‘innocent’ drinks to help vulnerable older people this winter.
Pensioners are knitting tiny hats to put on ‘innocent’ bottles and 25p from every drink sold will go to Age UK’s Spread the Warmth campaign, helping to keep older people warm.
The bottled drinks wearing their brightly coloured hats will be sold through Sainsbury’s in November.
