Two NHS services, delivered by Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust, are now available at Horder Healthcare Seaford.
Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, which provides NHS services across Sussex, Kent and Hampshire, will run two of its services out of the former Seaford Day Hospital.
Health in Mind is part of Sussex Partnership and provides courses and other types of therapies that help with stress, anxiety and low mood. Whatever the reasons are for feeling down, relationships, money or work, they offer a service that supports people in feeling positive again.
People can refer themselves directly into the service by contacting them on 0300 00 30 130 or emailing email@example.com
As well as Health in Mind, Sussex Partnership local assessment and treatment service will deliver clinics from the centre for people with complex mental health needs, which will run from the centre on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Those using the service will have been referred in by their GP and the appointments will be arranged through the assessment and treatment service, which can be contacted at Hill Rise in Newhaven on 01273 616440.
Marketing and business development manager for Horder Healthcare, Karen East said: “We are delighted to be working with Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust to offer these services in Seaford which gives local people access to services they need and saves them travelling further afield.”
The centre was opened earlier this month by charity Horder Healthcare, which also runs orthopaedic centre of excellence The Horder Centre in Crowborough and clinics in Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells, Heathfield, Horley and Pulborough.
Horder Healthcare Seaford offers specialist affordable physiotherapy and clinically led classes.
