“It was inspiring to hear from the beneficiaries about how they are using our investment to support local people’s health and wellbeing and we are looking forward to receiving applications for round two,” she said.

Overall, 26 organisations received a total of £200,000 in grants in round one of the scheme.

Hastings and Rye MP Amber Rudd thanked the CCG for giving her the opportunity to hear from the previous recipients.

“It is fantastic to hear about the wonderful work that local organisations such as the Sara Lee Trust and Little Gate Farm are doing in order to improve the lives of local residents.”
