FASCOH: The trustees of FASCOH (Friends of All Saints’ Church Old Heathfield) were very grateful for the generous support that the Co-op Local Community Fund and its members gave to them over the past year regarding All Saints’ Old Heathfield Graveyard. Colin Saunders, Chairman of FASCOH wrote: Knowing that the Local Community Fund had accepted our application for financial support, we were able to move ahead and commence with the ideas and plans we had to restore the Graveyard to something that was honouring and acceptable to families and friends who had relatives buried there. One of the main re-installations is of the footpath which goes from top to bottom on the south side of the graveyard and with plans and approval all in position this is due for completion in the spring of 2019. During the year, the graves right across the 4 acre site had been tidied up and in October the autumn clear up brought the whole graveyard into a good semblance of order. Particular help came from some members of the Duke of Edinburgh would were working each week to earn their various badges, overseen by Ann Kenward and some of the parents.
