THANK YOU: a big belated thank you, to the local community who came to support the Heffle Cuckoo Fair this year in such dreadful weather, and let them know that we raised the sum £4198.45 for Demelza Hospice Care for Children. This thanks comes from the Heathfield Friends of Demelza Group.

CRAFT SHOW: Craft Show at Punnetts Town Village Hall, Saturday October 22. Anyone who enjoys a hobby in art or crafts is invited to reserve a table at the Craft Show at Punnetts Town Village Hall on Saturday October 22. We already have firm bookings from several local clubs, and we are delighted to welcome also Uckfield Dolls’ House and Miniatures Club. We would be pleased to see exhibits by a wide range of hobbyists, including for example jewellery, painting, drawing, paper sculpture, and greetings cards. If you would like to reserve a table, please contact Maggie on (01435) 830645, or email Sue on [email protected]. There is no charge unless you intend to sell your work, in which case there will be a fee of £10. If you need extra space for demonstrations etc., please let us know when you book. The show starts at 9.30am, but you can bring your exhibits the day before if you wish. Admission will be £2 for adults and £1 for children, and refreshments will be available.
