Heathfield: Refused website grant

A REQUEST from the Heathfield Partnership for £7,000 towards the costs of a town website has been turned down by Wealden District Council.

Members on the Strategic Planning and Economic Development committee this week decided not to approve the grant application because Uckfield s website had been set up without any financial help.

However, the Partnership was successful in receiving grant money to help towards other costs.
