Heating oil stolenfrom Rye area
THIEVES stole £250 of heating oil from a property at East Guldeford, near Rye, between March 15 and 18.
Heating oil thefts have risen in the Rye area during the cold weather and police are advising owners to ensure their tanks are secure. Last year police arrested thieves at Peasmarsh suspected of stealing thousands of litres of oil.
