DOG BINS: Concerning Lower Horsebridge Recreation Ground. A request had been received by the PC from the rugby club for an additional dog waste bin and signs to be erected as they had to remove dog waste from the pitch before they could play. It was agreed that the chairman of the grounds committee would have a look at the location of the bins and signs on the recreation ground and a decision be made in March.

FOOD BANK: Hellingly Foodbank distribution point is moving from Hellingly Church to The Bunny Run, The Drive, Hellingly from Thursday. This distribution point will be open between 10am and 11.30am on Thursdays, term time only. Any enquiries please call the Hailsham Foodbank

SPRING SALE: Hellingly Mothers’ Union are holding Spring Sale, held at the church tomorrow, Saturday, 10am to noon. There will be refreshments, cake stall, nearly new clothes and other stalls including a raffle.

THE DIRT DIGGERS: The Florence Support Service introduces The Dirt Diggers. This is a new day opportunity set in a horticultural location for adults with autism, mental health or a learning disability. It is a chance for people to gain work experience skills whilst studying at college or working towards supported work experience or employment. The dirt 
diggers will run every Wednesday from April 6 to September 28 from 10am to 3pm and the cost is £30 per day. The venue is Misty Acres, Lower Horsebridge. For further information and directions call Linda on 01323 840227.
