HELLINGLY PC: At the recent meeting the draft minutes state that three members of the public were present. A member of the public raised the issue of cars parking on the pavement in Lower Horsebridge and how dangerous this was. The Chairman explained that as East Sussex County Council (ESCC) do not have regulations in place to prevent this there was very little that could be done. It was agreed that the Council would write to ESCC, Wealden District Council (WDC), Sussex Police and copied to the MP. The matter of speeding through Lower Horsebridge was also raised. In 2010 a letter had been received from Councillor Bennett identifying a number of measures that would be put in place, including red patches, flashing speed signs and chevron boards. These were still to be implemented, however, it was noted that these works were part of the s278 agreement for Roebuck Park and it was agreed that it would be a good time to remind ESCC that the works were still outstanding. A member of the public informed those present that he would be recording items on Roebuck Park and the Country Park.
