DICKER PARISH COUNCIL: At the recent meeting the draft minutes for ratification in January stated that Mrs Gillam, on behalf of SAGA, reported that SAGA had a very positive meeting with Michael Higgs of East Sussex County Council. Mr Higgs agreed to the installation of some new village signs which will require funding by the parish council and confirmed he is to instruct the works order for the road safety items agreed at the last parish council meeting. The cost for these works will be borne by ESCC. SAGA will continue to push for a 30mph speed limit and believe they have a strong case because of the unique road layout, the high number of crashes, the high amount of equestrian use and large numbers of drivers use the road as a rat run. Mrs Gillam thanked Councillors Collins, Parsons and Wheeler for their particular help and support.
