For a small donation (minimum donation of £5 per tree is suggested) they can collect your tree from your doorstep and take it away for recycling.

The trees will be donated to Port Lympne Reserve.

Carole Thomas, from the hospice, said: ‘The recycled trees will have a very exciting new home at Port Lympne Reserve, where they will be used for building shelters for a variety of animals and as enrichment for the big cats, who love using the pre loved trees as scratching posts.”

To sign up for the Christmas tree recycling scheme and make your donation please visit: www.stmichaelshospice.com/christmastrees or call the St Michael’s Hospice Donation Centre on 01424 728728.
