Help improve the planet
SMALL changes at home can make a massive difference to the planet.That was the message from Animal Aid, the UK's largest animal rights group, when it visited Hastings recently.
The Transform Your World touring display, which was set up in the town centre, encouraged people to adopt a more compassionate lifestyle. It depicted 10 easy changes people can make to their lives to help animals, people and the planet. There was a touch-screen quiz, a flip-chart 'match-the-animals' game for younger children and a Pledge Zone, where visitors had their photos taken holding pledge cards - for example, 'recycle more'.
The exhibition was part of Animal Aid's 30-year anniversary celebrations.
