Help to bring some Christmas cheer to Littlehampton shop

CAROL singers and Christmas choirs could take centre stage at a shop in Littlehampton in December.

Sainsbury’s, based in High Street, has launched an appeal for singing groups to help bring some festive cheer to the store this winter.

It is encouraging residents, including professional choirs, singing families, friends and regional groups like schools, charities and community clubs, to sign up and spread some Christmas magic at the shop.

Peter Thomas, Sainsbury’s Littlehampton store manager, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming local residents and groups in store to bring some festive cheer with a weekend of carol singing.

“I’m sure our customers will enjoy the extra sprinkle of Christmas spirit, and may even find themselves humming along as they shop.”

By taking part, the carol singers will have the option to raise funds for the store’s charity partner, Crossroads Care South Central, or funds for themselves, if they’re a registered charity.

The event is part of a nationwide carol singing effort held by the retailer’s various outlets across the UK
