Help to make sure hearts are healthy

Arun Wellbeing is launching two fun Valentine’s Day cards – but with the serious message about the importance of looking after your heart.

Paul Wotherspoon, Arun’s cabinet member for community development, said: “We recognise the fact that it is extremely hard to change our lifestyles and to cut down on things we enjoy, but little changes can make a big difference to your heart and overall health.”

Arun Wellbeing and prevention assessment teams will be running free 30-minute NHS health checks throughout the month with one at Bognor Regis Town Hall Annexe on February 12, for people aged between 40 and 74 without pre-existing health conditions.
