Help with the pond

East Blatchington Pond Conservation Society will be holding its annual general meeting next Thursday (October 31) at 7.30pm at St. James', Blatchington Road.

Members of the society and others who have an interest in the historical pond are welcome to attend.

The meeting offers an opportunity to meet the committee and learn more about what is involved in maintaining and improving the important wildlife haven in the middle of the town.

The pond receives regular attention from a dedicated team of volunteers. New supporters are always welcome to help with picking up litter, weeding and other 'gardening' tasks, administrative and secretarial work.
