Regular drop-in surgeries have been held at the Civic Centre, in Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, as well as in Bognor and Felpham, with new surgeries opening in a number of libraries.

Matt, who has used the service to help giving up smoking, said: “Most other smokers treat you as a bit of a traitor when you try to quit and non-smokers rarely acknowledge it as a challenge. So it was great to have a group of people in the Well-being team to talk to and call upon their extensive knowledge and access to information.”

Hazel Flack, programme manager for the service, said: “People may feel unsure about what foods they should be eating or safe drinking levels, and we can help them understand what they actually need to be focusing on and support them in how to reach their targets.”
