SUNDAY SERVICES: All Saints 9.45am Holy Communion (CW). St Mary Magdalene 8am Holy Communion (BCP). 3.30pm Reid Hall, Boreham Street is Messy Church for all ages.

MESSY CHURCH: The next Messy Church is on Sunday in the Reid Hall from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. If you have not tried Messy Church yet, why not try. It is a fun time, games, craft, story and tea. Suitable for all ages. Come and meet some new friends and meet up with some old ones. If you would like any more details please ring either Pat & Norman Honeysett 833925 or Pam Kendall. 833079. Messy Church happens at the Reid Hall usually on the third Sunday of the month at 3.30pm. This meeting is for all ages and includes games, crafts, teaching and an act of worship. It concludes with a light tea at 5pm.

COFFEE MORNINGS: The monthly coffee morning is at Wartling Church tomorrow, Saturday, at 10am to noon. Cake, coffee (tea) and company. Come and join us always a good time.

LILIES FOR EASTER: At Wartling. If you would like to give Lilies in memory of family or friends at Easter this year, can you please phone Stella on 01323 833445 by March 17.

FREE CHURCH: The February Breakfast Club was held on the first Sunday of the month at 10.30am. The idea behind our breakfast club is to provide a time and place for people to get to know one another and is open to everyone not just members of the church. Tea, coffee, a continental style breakfast and copies of the Sunday papers are provided for those who wanted to read them. There is no charge for breakfast and refreshments. No one is obliged to take part in any of the activities that are available. Herstmonceux Free Church runs a youth club which meets every Friday at the Free Church from 7.30pm to 9pm. Various indoor games, activities and a tuck shop is provided. The aim is to provide a safe place where young people in the village can meet up with their friends. The youth club is open to everyone aged 11 to 16 years old. Further details can be obtained by phoning Helen on 832266.

RAY AND SHELDON CLUB: The twice-monthly meetings meet on the second and fourth Fridays afternoons of the month between 2pm and 4pm. There are talks by visiting speakers, slide shows, musical entertainment etc plus tea, cakes and raffle. On February 26, Ian Everest will give a talk A Sussex Farm in the 1950’s. Please note we now aim to start at 2pm. The venue is the small hall of the Herstmonceux Village Hall. Do come along to this friendly group. For more information call 01323 441244.

KNIT AND STITCH: The Knit and Stitch Group had a very pleasant lunch at the Orangery at Ashburnham before Christmas and resumed normal meetings on Thursdays at 2.30pm in the Village Information Centre in January. The next is on February 25. Everybody will be most welcome. Jocelyn Tel: 832997.

HEALTH CENTRE: Dates for your diary: The six week meditation workshop started this week at the Health Centre, Claire will be running the next workshop from March 1. The workshop will be six weeks long covering all types of meditation, if you are interested please contact Claire Lloyd on: [email protected]. On February 25: Curious about Health? Meditation, Claire will be giving a free introduction into meditation and its health benefits from 7pm to 8pm. May 14: Quiz night at the village hall to raise funds for ECG machine.
