VITALITY VILLAGE SINGERS: The newly formed choir is performing a Christmas Carol Concert at Lime Cross Nursery on Saturday December 3 at 10.30am. Come and enjoy the Christmas spirit, the vibrant singing of the choir, and join with us in singing many well known Christmas carols. New members are always welcome to join our relaxed and friendly group come along to the Great Space at the Health Centre on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm. No auditions and all will be very welcome. MAGICAL CHRISTMAS: Lime Cross Nursery invites you to its Magical Christmas on Saturday December 3 between 10am and 6pm. Magical Father Christmas Grotto is open from 11am to 5pm and is £4.50 per child, includes consultation with Father Christmas to check that the child is on the good behaviour’ list, if so, a present will be awarded plus candy stick from the Elf and optional photograph. Book a slot. If you would like to visit the Mystical Rainbow Unicorn Farm, with the Beautiful Ice Princess’, meet at the mulled wine and mince pie station near the entrance. Time slots 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, £4.50 per child, includes feeding the unicorn, rainbow unicorn drink and treat and optional photo. Reserve a place or just arrive on the day. There is an Alternative Christmas Tree Workshop with Vicky Tate at 2pm called Conifers that are for life, not just for Christmas. Vicky will help you choose a charming homegrown conifer and container to match. Teach you how to pot it up and explain how to care for your tree during the festive period. Then offer guidance on successfully re-homing it in your garden in the new year and returning indoors for next year. Free workshop and free potting service. There is a free potting service throughout December for home grown conifers. Book your place on the Christmas Wreath Workshops 9.30am to noon and 1pm to 3.30pm with Jane from Garden to Garland. Tickets £35.Come and enjoy a practical hands–on workshop and festive time creating a beautiful Christmas wreath to take home for your front door. Novice or expert, fun for all. All you need is enthusiasm and your secateurs. Finally, enjoy Festive Wood Fired Pizza and Fire Pits in the Garden and explore the Christmas Poly Tunnel Emporium. There is more delicious festive fare at Olive’s Café, open 9am to 5pm for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, bookings strongly advisable for breakfast and lunch. No need to book for pizza. WARTLING CHRISTMAS FAIR: This is tomorrow, Saturday, at Reid Hall from 11am to 2pm. Cakes, raffle, Christmas goods, books, white elephant, stalls to name a few. Games to play. Lunch available. Entrance 50p with lunch £5. Come and start your Christmas run up with old and new friends. Tables maybe available, tel: 833445 or 833079.

CHRISTINGLE SERVICE: This lovely service is at Wartling Church at 5pm on Sunday December 4. The making of the Christingles will take place at and during the Herstmonceux School Christmas Fair on December 3. Everyone welcome. Parking available.
