LINO PRINT EXHIBITION: Lime Cross Nursery is delighted to exhibit lino prints, paintings and fabric collages by local artist, Annie Soudain for this year's Hailsham Arts Trail between September 8 and 18. WILD SUMMER: Lakeside, woodland, sun and moon are all part of the Lime Cross Nursery Wild Summer event on Saturday September 17 between 10am and 9pm. Focus on your sun and moon energies with a day of yoga, meditation, a Joy of Movement class, wild swimming and relaxation by the lake and in the ancient woodlands. MINI MARKET: Mini Market and Table Sale tomorrow, Saturday, 10am until 1pm, at the Reid Hall Boreham Street in aid of local scout groups. Tables are £8 each. There may also be car boot spaces (weather permitting). Further details on 01323 831778 or 07761754977.

COFFEE MORNING: The Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning will take place this year on September 30 between 11am and 1pm at the Reid Hall in Boreham Street. Last year this village event raised a staggering £1407 for this charity. Along with coffee and cakes there will be stalls selling handmade items and a Grand Raffle. Entrance is by donation. RAY AND SHELDON CLUB: The first meeting of the season for this over 60s club is today, Friday, from 2 to 4pm and the guests are Recycled. The club meets on the second and fourth Friday of each month in the village hall. The next meeting, on September 23, is an outing.
