Hewitt's History Files

IT'S not simply the largest, it's also the finest photographic collection ever acquired by West Sussex Library Service.

And the great news is that you can sample its delights in a major new exhibition at Worthing Library in Richmond Road, until Friday March 6.

The exhibition celbrates the remarkable work in West Sussex by photographer Walter Dardiner- and the fact that a grant of 32,500 from the Heritage Lottery Fund has enabled the 116,000 unique and historic photographs it comprises to be preserved, digitised and classified.
