High Sheriff visits hospice

They were shown around the building by Julian Avery, Chairman of St Michael's and his wife Quenelda, and Celia Pyke Lees, Hospice Chief Executive.

Mr Avery said: "We were extremely grateful to the High Sherriff and his wife for the time spent with us.

"The High Sherriff remarked on the exceptional work being done by St Michael's Hospice for the local community of Hastings and Rother and took a keen interest in our experiences of delivering services during the current difficult financial climate."
