HISTORIC GARDEN AS YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE

SHEFFIELD Park Garden has been transformed into a magical lights show that displays the magnificent trees and shrubs as you have never seen them before.

For the first time the National Trust property near Chailey is presenting The Enchanted Garden.

The trees and lakes in the garden are beautifully floodlit with different coloured lights to show the garden as visitors have never seen it before.

Some of the vistas are quite stunning, especially where bare-leaved trees are reflected into the water. Trees are stunningly lit to display the intricate shapes created by their winter branches.

Catch The Enchanted Garden between December 27 until Saturday, December 30 from 5pm until 8pm.

Tickets cost 12 for adults and 6 for children and refreshments will be available each evening at the garden. The shop will be open.

Jo Hopkins, Visitor Services Manager at Sheffield Park Garden, said: 'A relaxing stroll in amongst the floodlit trees and lovely reflections in the lakes is the perfect antidote to the ever-increasing stresses that Christmas can bring. We hope that lots of people will come and enjoy our enchanted evening and be filled with inspiration, ready to face 2007."
