Honour confirmedfor Rye man Frank

A proposal to make former Rye Mayor and long serving councillor Frank Palmer an Honorary Freeman of the town was confirmed by Rye Town Council on Monday.

Mayor, Cllr Bernardine Fiddimore, pictured here, said: “I consider him to be a remarkable man and a real asset to this town. He is tireless and an absolute legend.

The council voted unanimously in favour.
