Ezra and Caleb White’s family in America are each trying to raise $750 towards the cost of medical treatment for a new baby which their aunt and uncle, who live in America will adopt.

Ezra, seven, has chosen to run a 10km and nine-year-old Caleb who goes to North Heath Primary School, is set to become one of the youngest Three Peaks Challengers.

Dad Dan White who is accompanying them through their training and the challenges said: “My brother, their uncle, Andrew and his wife Kim, live in the USA. They cannot naturally conceive, and are working towards adoption. Over in the USA, the process is very different to the UK, and costs can reach $30-40k.

“I’m very proud of what the boys are doing. The challenges they have chosen will really stretch them, and that’s a great mentality to take into life in general.”

Andrew and Kim added: “We are so proud of our nephews. It brings us so much joy to see them challenging themselves in order to raise money to help bring their cousin home. The fact that they would do so much to love this baby that they don’t even know yet is proof of their big hearts and deep commitment to our family. We are so blessed by them.”

They both have fundraising pages to promote their cause. To support Ezra go to youcaring.com/cousin10k and for Caleb’s story go to youcaring.com/cousin3peaks
