Results for AS Level were also excellent, with an overall pass rate of 94 per cent with 46 per cent achieving A or B.

This year’s strong performance means that a vast majority of budding adults have secured a place at their chosen university.

Principle Dr Jackie Johnston said: “We are delighted to be celebrating yet another record-breaking year.

“I’m extremely proud of our students and staff. The success reflects their hard work over the course of another hugely successful year, across the broad range of subjects studied - the results are simply outstanding!”

She added: “Horsham should be very proud of its young people. They have done their very best to invest time and effort in their futures, in what is a difficult and uncertain world for them.”
