Horsham man charged with driving offences

A Horsham man has been charged with two driving offences as part of Sussex Police’s crackdown on drink and drug-driving.

Terence Rosen, of Bennetts Road, was arrested at 10.45pm on June 28 after police saw him driving in High Street, Storrington, with a faulty light.

The 57-year-old was charged with drink-driving and driving a vehicle without an MOT and has been released on bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on July 16.

Bahri Fiigioli, 29, was arrested at 9.45pm on June 28 at Pease Pottage services because officers were concerned about his erratic driving.

Fiigioli, of Holburne Road, London, was charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and driving without a licence.

He was released on bail to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on 14 July.

A total of 90 people have so far been charged with offences during Sussex Police’s June drink and drug-driving operation.

Teams are responding to tip-offs from members of the public who see someone they know has been drinking getting into a car to drive.

People in Sussex can text officers on 65999 with the details of people they suspect of drink or drug driving or visit www.operationcrackdown.co.uk.
