Horsham man received ‘kicks to the head’

Police, who attended the scene at around 5.15pm, said the 53-year-old victim ‘received kicks to the head’ by two men who are not known to him.

A 69-year-old man, from Worthing, and a 42-year-old man, from Hove, were arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and have been bailed until November 2 pending further enquiries.

PC Ben Maides, of West Sussex Response Investigation Team, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault which left the victim needing hospital treatment for a bloodied nose.”
