Horsham road blocked after car hits tree

A Horsham road has re-opened following a crash in which a car hit a tree.

The collision took place on the B2237 Worthing Road close to Horsham Golf and Fitness just after 10.30am.

Police said no-one was injured but the road became blocked by the tree.

It was closed off for several hours whilst West Sussex Highways teams removed the debris, causing delays between the A24 Hop Oast roundabout and Salisbury Road.

It was re-opened just after 4pm, officers added.
