Police and fire crews cordoned off a Horsham road when a gas leak was reported early this morning.
Three fire engines from Horsham and Crawley attended the scene in Foundry Lane, along with a breathing apparatus support unit and incident command unit.
An ambulance crew also attened when the alert was sounded just before 6am.

Hide AdA spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “Gas monitors were used whilst a cordon was put in place, and crews wearing breathing apparatus were able to isolate the valves.
“The police and ambulance were also in attendance and multi-agency arrangements ensured that members of the public remained safe throughout.”
Crews left the scene at around 7.45am.
