Horsham roadworks delayed due to heavy rain

Rain is forecast for throughout the night tonight (Tuesday May 27) and for most of tomorrow.

West Sussex Highways have Tweeted that because of the poor weather the planned A24 surfacing work tonight around Horsham will not be going ahead.

The Met Office forecast is a mixture of light and heavy rain right through until around 6am tomorrow.

It will remain overcast until the afternoon when it will just be cloudy.

As a result, the temperature will struggle up to about 15degC at best.

However, Thursday will see a change as the sun breaks through and things will improve with Saturday’s forecast as mainly sunny with temperatures getting up to 18degC.
